This weekend I was lucky enough to spend time in the Somerset countryside, just outside Glastonbury on fitness retreat. I won a place for my matcha superfood bar recipe, a competition hosted by Becky from The Art of Healthy Living – see link to her site below and Cocofina.
I headed off and loved every second of the weekend. The retreat involved a wide variety of activities, from morning hike/runs to pad boxing to meditative yoga. Each day’s itinerary as presented to the guests over dinner and offered a chance to try new activities and have a laugh in the process.
The food was served by Ellie – aka Sage and Honey, lots of delicious meals full of flavours and goodness and no strict 1000cals a day like on some retreats! We even had a sushi making lesson – can’t wait to try cooking at home!
If you’re looking for a weekend away to reset and give your training a new lease of life then look no further than Target – you won’t regret it!
