I decided to make some sweet treats using a base of oats and the seedy nut butter I had from JakesBoost and these cups were just the trick.
The chocolate coating is optional – definitely adds a cheeky twist that went down a treat. They’re made using just a good processor, small cupcake tin and freezer so no copious amounts of washing up!
- 2 tblsp coconut oil melted
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/4 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup dates
- 2 tblsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp nut butter
(Optional : melted chocolate to top).
Simply put all the ingredients in a processor and blend until smooth. Spoon into a greased (I used a drip of melted coconut oil in each cake hole) tin and then freeze for a few hours to set.
If you’re adding chocolate do this before you set in the freezer.
